It's that time again! My Ipsy My Glam bag has come in the mail! This month's bag titled, Classic Beauty, was a bit of a let down. I've been an Ipsy subscriber for three months now, and this is the first time I've been truly upset with what I got. One thing I do like about this month is the super cute royal blue lace pattern bag! It's the best looking bag I've received so far!
NYX Single Eyeshadow in Hollywood - I'm not sure how I feel about getting this. I rarely wear eye shadow, and I've probably never worn anything silver. I'm definitely going to try this, but I'm not sure how it'll play out.
Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter Pencil - This is really intriguing.. Their website says the pencil will "brighten and visibly lift your eyes when lightly applied on the brow bone, dark circles, blemishes and red spots". I'm always looking to get rid of my dark circles, this may just be the tool I've been looking for.
Elizabeth Mott "It's So Big" Mascara - I can never have too much mascara. EVER. This mascara isn't the best mascara I've ever used, but it's not the worst either. I'm not sure if this is going to become a staple in my makeup bag just yet...
Starlooks Obsidian Kohl Eye Pencil - Black eyeliner is my best friend. I have a collection of over twenty different black eyeliners. I am gladly adding this eyeliner to my collection.
Cailyn Tinted Lip Balm in Big Apple - This lip balm is heavily pigmented, which is kind of nice because when I want red on my lips, I'm going all the way. But for a lip balm, it's not too moisturizing.
The bottom unscrews to reveal the pot of lip balm and the top handle unscrews to reveal a brush to apply the lip balm. It's a weird yet cool contraption.
I love this design! On the back is all of the brands used in the ipsy bags this month and some sweet discounts!
A little info on Michelle Phan (The Creator of Ipsy) and her newest makeup venture, EM. inside is a visual of the Career palette and a little sample. The palette doesn't really interest me, 75$ for something I can get for 10$ from E.L.F .... no thanks.
The total retail price of these products are over 40$, and I only paid 10$ for this bag! You can sign up and get your own Ipsy Glam Bag here! Happy Shopping!
